Gunther intervened by pulling both men down, dropping Owens with a lariat, and chopping Balor off the ropes. Gunther then cinched in a rear choke on Owens, which Balor broke up by landing a Coup de Grace.

Balor dropkicked Gunther into the corner, connected with another Coup de Grace, and went for the winning cover. That is when Sami Zayn made his explosive presence felt.
