NEW YORK, USA.- The United States government requested that the material be protected over the content of the investigations in the case of Juan Antonio "Tony" Hernández.
Through a letter sent to Judge Kevin Castel of the Court of the Southern District of New York, Prosecutor Geoffrey S. Berman requested an order of protection of the material that arises and is presented in the judicial process against the Honduran implicated linked to trafficking in drugs
With this action, it is sought that the case be kept secret and that they do not transcend the testimonies of those who appear in the trial against them. “The request governs the handling of the material that will be produced by the government in accordance with the law,” the document mentions.
In turn, that confidential information on sensitive investigations in Honduras and other countries is not disclosed.
