The instructions given by President Vladimir Putin on Saturday were aimed at correcting problems in the coal mining industry. This was stated by the press secretary of the head of state Dmitry Peskov, reports RIA Novosti.
“The President was very dissatisfied and considered the situation that the meeting participants told him about (the meeting with the leaders of coal mining companies on August 22 to be unacceptable. – RBC), in particular trade unions. It's about the pay system, when workers doing the same job are paid different salaries, ”he told reporters.
According to the spokesman for the president, Putin also did not like other aspects of the organization of the coal industry, and he reflected all this in the signed list of instructions. The document, Peskov noted, was signed the day before Miner’s Day.
