Shoigu and Lavrov answered the words of the head of the Pentagon about the behavior of Russia
Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said that Russia will remain “abnormal,” according to RIA Novosti. So he commented on the words of US Secretary of Defense Mark Esper that it would be great if "we could force Russia to behave as a more normal country."
“It is difficult to add anything, the only thing I want to say is that we will probably still be abnormal,” said Shoigu after the meeting of the ministers of the Russian-French Security Cooperation Council.
At the same time, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov noted that it is important to know what normality is in the understanding of American colleagues. “If he said that, then […] he called for acting as a normal country, and not like the United States, because in this case we would have to bomb the same Iraq, the same Libya, as the United States,” the Foreign Minister added .
