JPMorgan appoints veteran Gori as new executive director of Asia Pacific

HONG KONG (Reuters) – JPMorgan Chase & Co (JPM.N) on Thursday he appointed veteran Filippo Gori as his new executive director of Asia Pacific to oversee the strategy and operations of Wall Street in 17 markets in the region.

Gori, who has been with the bank for two decades, will take on the new role in addition to his current responsibilities as head of banking in Asia Pacific and chief executive of Hong Kong, the bank said.

He assumes the role of Asia Pacific chief Nicolas Aguzin, who has been appointed executive director of the bank’s private international banking business.
