The main novelty will be a compact crossover V3. This is a Lada XRAY classmate: its length is 4,200 mm, its width is 1,790 mm, its height is 1,600 mm (for comparison, the similar dimensions of XRAY are 4,165, 1,764 and 1,570 mm, respectively). Brilliance technically cannot be all-wheel drive – it has a simple semi-independent rear suspension.
The only engine available is a 1.5-liter aspirated engine with a return of 107 hp, with which 5-speed gearboxes can coexist – mechanical or automatic. Interestingly, the acceleration time to 100 km / h does not depend on the type of transmission – 11.4 seconds are declared in the passport data of both versions.
Ground clearance is by no means a record 170 mm, while the clearance of Lada XRAY is 195 mm. The claimed boot volume is 455 liters, and the aforementioned Lada has a 360-liter hold.
Brilliance V3 will offer only fixed configurations. The basic Comfort for 839,000 rubles includes frontal airbags, a stabilization system, air conditioning, an audio system, eco-leather upholstery, parking sensors, as well as electric windows and mirrors.
In the older Deluxe package, for which they will ask for 40 thousand more, an additional 7-inch screen of the media system, Bluetooth protocol, cruise control, a rear view camera and a multi-wheel steering wheel are additionally announced. Thus, even the most expensive V3 costs less than a million rubles.
As for competitors, they will most likely also be SUVs of Chinese origin. In particular, Chery Tiggo 4 (from 900,000 rubles) and Changan CS35 Plus (from 1,080,000 rubles). But Lada XRAY can be bought much cheaper – from 614,900, and XRAY Cross – from 759,900 rubles.
