Four people died in traffic accidents in the Voronezh region
An accident involving several foreign cars and a truck occurred in the Pavlovsky district of the Voronezh region. As a result, four people died, TASS reports citing the head of the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the region, Natalya Kulikova.
According to her, the accident occurred on Sunday at 19:30 Moscow time on the 688th km of the M-4 Don highway. It was previously established that the driver of the Nissan car lost control and allowed him to enter the oncoming lane, where he collided with a MAZ truck. From the blow, the truck drove into the oncoming lane and crashed into Citroen and Opel cars. As a result, the drivers of two foreign cars and two passengers were killed. Among the victims – a minor passenger of a Nissan car and a truck driver. With injuries of varying severity, they were taken to the hospital.
At the same time, on the website of the State Ministry for Emergencies of Russia in the Voronezh Region, it is reported that five cars became participants in the accident: Citroen Berlingo, MAZ, Nissan Note, Ford Focus and Opel.
At the scene of the accident there are two departments of rescuers.
