Medieval role-playing game Kingdom Come: Deliverance came out a year and a half ago, and the studio Warhorse getting ready to stop supporting her. And at the same time continue it, passing into the hands of enthusiasts. Developers are preparing support for custom modifications.

Studio PR manager Tobias Stolz-Zwilling told the Polish portal Gry-online about the future and past of Kingdom Come: Deliverance. In particular, that the game still has unopened Easter eggs.

Custom modifications to the game are coming out now, but basically they change the graphics and some gameplay aspects. Developers plan to give modders a much wider range of tools. They will have, in particular, the ability to create and add their own tasks – including characters and dialogs with them.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance in addition to the PC came out on the PS4 and Xbox One and recently joined Xbox game pass. However, due to the console policy, only PC players can enjoy all the mods' capabilities. Except that Microsoft and Sony suddenly decide to change something in this regard.

Stolz-Zwilling also spoke about the progress of the game. He acknowledged that the most difficult thing for the team was to inform the players about the next postponement of the release date. Kingdom Come: Deliverance was postponed three times, and still it had to be released with a huge number of incomplete errors.

The creators also had to abandon a number of planned features. If female characters and a number of other aspects were able to be added to the DLC, then nothing was left of the blacksmith craft in the game. Meanwhile, they were going to make him a model of alchemy: mix the ingredients, monitor the temperature, consult books.

They did the same with horses. Fighting while riding a horse is possible, but inconvenient. But in the game they planned to make cavalrymen and a developed system of horse battles.

As for the mechanics of meeting the needs, they did not plan it from the very beginning, although there are needers in the villages, traces of bowel movements are visible on the fortress walls, and Indrikhikh can sit in a secluded place, earning a reading bonus. The developers are sure that such a mechanic will be interesting for the first half hour – to have fun yourself and please friends. And then she will become bothersome.

By all accounts, Warhorse is already working on the second part of Kingdom Come: Deliverance, although the PR manager flatly refused to confirm it. However, he admitted that the developers continue to intend to use the CryEngine engine, because they put a lot of effort into it and created many tools and add-ons.
